I have created this site to tell you about two Jewish Communities in Sub-Saharan Africa, communities with which I am proud to be involved. The Jewish Community in Uganda has been practicing Judaism since 1919. In Nigeria, where Ibibios, Igbos and others are reclaiming their spiritual legacy, the practice of Judaism is much newer and still evolving. I think that you will be fascinated by what you will read, and I hope that you too will want to get involved.

There are, of course, many more Jewish Communities in that part of the world. Click here for a Map of Jewish Africa. If you want to learn more about African Jewry, go to the Links Page on this site. Jewish_Africa.htmlJewish_Africa.htmlshapeimage_1_link_0shapeimage_1_link_1shapeimage_1_link_2
